We got from several sides the question if there is one time “a kind of reunion” for participants of “Paris-Dakar by Bike”. In addition, we get the request of potential participants if an information evening is coming up.
We hit upon the idea to combine both requests, and to organize a “Bike-Dreams Weekend”.
It’s for the participants of 2006 and 2007 a nice opportunity to have a chat and to revive stories : “How tough was the
Tizi-n-Test ?”, “Do you remember the heat in Mauritania ?”, and “How cold it was in the mornings in Spain ?”.
The weekend gives for potential participants the possibility to get acquainted with the Bike-Dreams organization in an informal way and to hear the experiences of former participants.
The first “Bike Weekend Dreams” is organized April 5-6th in the south of the Netherlands. We go two days for a ride through the southern hills with the usual lunch, soup afterwards, and of course the well-known Maxim bars and drink. Everyone can cycle the rides at his or her own pace with a detailed map.
